FRANK THURMOND + KYLIE WAGONER
FRANK THURMOND grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, and his books include the memoir Before I Sleep: A Memoir of Travel and Reconciliation (2012, Et Alia Press); a short fiction collection titled Ring of Five: A Novella and Four Stories (2015, Et Alia Press); his poetry chapbook Remembrance and Other Poems (2022, Braddock Avenue Books); and Lottie Deno: A Novel of the Civil War & the American Southwest (2024, Parkhurst Brothers Publishers). He is most recently the editor of Tales of the Arkansas Frontier (2025, Parkhurst Brothers Publishers) by the late Jon Cash. Thurmond teaches literature, writing and music at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
KYLIE WAGONER studies creative writing at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she is a Cooper Honors Scholar. Her work has appeared in journals such as the Oakland Arts Review, Quirk, and the Baltimore-based literary magazine JMWW. During the 2023-2024 academic year, she served as an intern for the independent literary press, Braddock Avenue Books.
